No, not without an account. Your PDF is opened and worked on in this browser tab, and never sent to our server.
Is there a file size limit?
Not as a guest. Your file never reaches our server, so there’s no file-size or usage quota. One export takes up to 500 pages. With a free account, each PDF kept in your library can be up to 100 MB.
Can I turn a PDF into a .docx file on my phone?
Yes. It works in the web browser on a phone, a tablet or a computer.
Does it keep the layout?
It keeps the text’s structure, not its look: paragraphs, headings, bullets and a page break for each PDF page. Pictures, bold and italic, and the exact layout are not carried over.
